My First Week with iPhone + HealthKit
It’s been a week with HealthKit and I must say, I’m pretty impressed. MyFitnessPal now records my calories while I’m on the go where it relays to CARROTfit where she can ridicule me for having a Snickers thus threatening me with a forced march which then Human comes in using positive reenforcement for a change with a high five for being active for more than 30 minutes.
IOS 8 FOR FITNESS
iOS 8 has been a pleasure since when I first installed the beta and very impressed how with all the functionality I’ve found myself deleting nearly half my apps for my phone to serve more as a phone instead of a time killer, but as far as using this as a gym device, try some of these apps out. My strength is that when I was 25 and going to the gym is no longer a chore due to the enjoyment I get through the analytical data and marked improvements on-screen.
Fitness should be old-school I agree, yet I must say; CARROTfit is the funniest thing I’ve dealt with on my phone, so witty that it’s almost worth gaining weight for the fat jokes. “1,500 calories eaten so far. You must be exhausted shovelling it all down your gaping maw.” Based on that insulting AI I also went for CARROT’s to-do app which is just as good, it’s quite honestly a sarcastic nag if you’ve not completed a task, a friend even.
